换向阀主要由阀体、密封组件、凸轮、阀杆、手柄和阀盖等零部件组成(图1)。
阀门由手柄驱动，通过手柄带动阀杆与凸轮旋转，
凸轮具有定位驱动与锁定密封组件的开启与关闭功能。
阀瓣为碳钢板焊件，设有加强筋，即增加阀瓣强度又起导向作用，保证每组阀瓣间的同轴度。

在凸轮的作用下，密封圈的球面与阀体密封面相接触产生挤压弹性变形，达到密封效果。
